Happy week before Christmas friends! During this most wonderful time of the year I find myself frequently reminded of the great number of blessings I have in my life. In-between so many holiday festivities and what seems to be a never ending “to-do” list, I wanted to pop on the blog take a breather and share some gratitude this week before Christmas.DSC_4106

First and foremost, I am reminded just how blessed am I to be able to share the holidays with those that I love. Spending Christmas in Wilmington means lots of family time and Justin and I sharing our first Christmas together! We’ve always been apart for Christmas. I am so excited to share old family traditions with Justin while making our own too.

This year we had so many opportunities to celebrate with friends. Never before have I had so many wonderful Christmas parties to attend!! & besides the amazing food and drinks what really struck me was the sheer joy in the air. Everyone was just happy to be together. We really are blessed to have so many wonderful friends that make celebrating the holidays a joyous time.

Lastly, I am thankful for tradition. Although this Christmas will be unlike most since we will be in Wilmington not New York with extended family, I still find myself finding happiness in the traditions of the season. From picking out our first real Christmas tree, listening to classic Christmas music {mainly the ray conniff singers on vinyl}, decorating the tree and spending time together I am so incredibly lucky to have a holiday that is so full of these little traditions.

Now here is to a week of gratitude, recharging and celebrating. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas!
