Routine is something I really want to focus on this year. Finding that grove and sticking too it can be so hard but so transformative.
If I am being completely honest, mornings are hard for me. I make an effort to wake up on time and be productive but I haven’t really been disciplined enough to stick to any routine. I am still working on my routine, but I did want to share a few tips I’ve found to helpful in my effort to transform my mornings.
3 Tips to Transform Your Mornings
- No social media before work. It may seem silly but starting your day focusing on you and less of what the rest of the world is doing can help you find peace in the madness.
- Listen to something on your commute – either an uplifting podcast, audio book or playlist. Most of us commute, so use this time to ready yourself for the day on the way to work.
- Make your bed. Might seem small but leaving the house knowing your bed is made and room is (semi) tidy already feels like a small win for the day. Now let that carry you into whatever comes your way.
